So recently I have become a bit obsessed with crepes and pancakes, I found a good crepe recipe on BBC good food and adapted it to make it low FODMAP, I also created a nice little chocolate sauce to make it even more yummy! This recipe should make about 6 crepes, depending on your size for frying pan.
125g gluten free plain flour
250ml almond milk (or your milk of choice)
Coconut oil, for frying
1tsp coconut oil
1tsp raw cacao
1tsp maple syrup
Sieve the flour into a bowl and whisk in the egg. Gradually add in the milk, whisking to make a nice smooth texture. Heat a small non stick frying pan until the coconut oil is bubbling. Ladle in enough of the mixture to coat the base of the frying pan and cook on both sides until golden. Whilst you are cooking your crepes, you can make your chocolate sauce.
This chocolate sauce is so easy to make, you simply place the ingredients in a small saucepan and melt at a low heat whilst mixing together.
Once both are cooked, serve them up pouring the chocolate sauce on top. I also love to add some bananas on top….yum!!
