A few of my Favourite Free From Bloggers
Since writing my blog and using other social media channels, I’ve had the chance to interact with many free from bloggers. There are a lot out there, so I wanted to round up a few of my favourite ones.
I’ve followed Emma since the start of my FODMAP journey. She has released her brilliant book ‘The Fodmap Friendly Kitchen’. This is a fab book if you don’t have it, and her instagram feed is constantly giving me serious food envy on a regular basis. I highly recommend if you’re following the FODMAP diet to check her out – although, there’s a high chance you already know about her!
Cloud-like vanilla meringue nests with a crisp outside and soft, marshmallow-y centre. Topped with creamy rhubarb curd and tender roast rhubarb to make a delicious seasonal dessert that's simple, inexpensive to make and just happens to be gluten free and FODMAP friendly. Whether you love or hate Valentine's Day it's always a great excuse to step back and give yourself or those around you some love. And love through food is always a winner. I haven’t followed Alice’s blog and Instagram for long but I’m so glad I discovered her. Alice is a Coeliac and dairy intolerant and creates some fab recipes to suit her dietary needs. On her blog she shares recipes, reviews and general lifestyle tips and stories about living gluten and dairy free. I particularly like her gluten and dairy free shopping haul that she often shares on Instagram, demonstrating you can eat this way, whilst on a budget.
Ok, so I’ve created quite a free of Becky’s fab low FODMAP recipes. She’s the queen of free from recipes, covering all basis. I’m a big fan of her sweet and sour chicken recipe. She is also often sharing lots of free from finds around the supermarkets.
Who wants to faceplant right into my gluten free (and dairy free) Bakewell loaf cake? 🤪 Don’t be shy! This recipe was one of the first to make it to my blog (but the old photos were 99% more terrible) and it’s been a fave ever since 💖 Check the link in my bio for the full recipe 🙌🏻 What’s everyone been up to today?? Me & Mark did something crazy exciting this morning… all will be revealed in a month or so 😍
Jane, is a fellow Scottish FODMAP blogger. She creates some delicious FODMAP friendly meals that look super delicious. I need to get back in the kitchen and start trying these out!
I love how blended parsnips create such a smooth and creamy soup base, such as in this Cream of Parsnip Soup. It's warming and comforting at the same time. Jo has a HUGE selection of recipes on her blog. She covers lots of different dietary needs such as dairy free, nut free, gluten free and paleo. Her instagram feed is to die for too, you should definitely check her out!
Latest recipe up on the blog, AIP Lamb Sheek Kebabs, inspired by the way my local takeaway makes them. And I’ve made a zesty lime and coconut dip to go alongside. Tasty! There are many, many more free from bloggers that I follow and LOVE, I just thought I’d share a few of them that I’m really loving right now.
Perhaps I’ll do another post soon. xx
