Celicioso, Gluten Free Bakery – Marbella

A little while back, I ventured off to Puerto Banus, Marbella for a holiday. As you all know, venturing off on holiday when on a restricted diet can be a little stressful. The best way to deal with this is research ahead of time. I was recommended Celicioso by a relative who had been shortly beforehand. I was so glad this place was recommended as it was SO good.

We didn’t book a table ahead of time, as it was a last minute decision to go so. The restaurant was filled with people and extremely busy so there was a little wait, but it was SO worth it. I tried to take some pictures of the menu as I can’t see the menu listed on the website, yes it’s a terrible picture but you might see it if you zoom in! See below…

I went for the Puente Romano Sandwich with french fries and a carrot and orange juice and it was delicious. C went for the Steak Sandwhich and a chocolate milkshake. Both of us enjoyed our food so much. The service was brilliant and the food was absolutely delicious. Celicioso claim to cater for any unique dietary requirement, and I definitely think they did. There were options for everyone – vegan, lactose free, dairy free, gluten free, sugar free etc.

As it is a bakery, there were lots of delicious looking cakes on display, unfortunately we were too full up to try one. Although I’m regretting not getting one to take away…

I would definitely recommend trying out Celicioso if you’re in the area, I believe they also have two shops in Madrid too!
